Whether it's your day job, an unfinished DIY, a business you've been stalling, or a new workout you've been meaning to try, start the work now. Work will fill your mind with joy and show you the road ahead. Like a flashlight enlightening a dark path. One love.
Today is the day to work. Not until your mind hurts, but until it attains a small measure of peace. When things cease to work out, we are advised to go with the flow. That flow comes from meaningful work, a moment where time floats and space expands. Fulfilment feels permanent...
We worry about the passage of time, yet remain pre-occupied in that very thought, eventually leading to an endless cycle of planning, indecision and overthinking. No more thinking. Get up and do the work...
Your brain will give you countless reasons to not start something.
That's its job. To protect you against harm.
Your job is to count less and do more.
Because as you get better at something, the brain's no-fear zone will expand.
Think cycling, swimming, driving, learning.
@ChrisH_Au Indeed. My biggest issue with problem solving was that if it took too long to solve, I would get bored easily. A step by step approach keeps me engaged.
Fulfillment comes from solving problems.
But sometimes we take on more than we can chew.
No matter how big or small the problem,
Break it down into micro tasks,
Assign a timeframe to each MT and timebox the shit out of them.
Progress happens when you start with small wins.
@CVDS_43 Oh yes, definitely adding that to my list. I was never a fan until I had no option but to go for walks during the pandemic, since all the gyms were shut. It's one of the most underrated low effort-high impact activity in my opinion.

1. You don't need a grand plan, you just need A plan

3. No employee or freelancer will give 100% to your business (keyword is 'your')
Here's a HitHabit:
Close your eyes for 20 seconds.
Try recalling at least 3 accounts that you interacted with today.
If you can, then you have an amazing memory.
In the age of short term memory stimulation, recalling names is the simplest way to make a long term impression.
@iMichaelDeVine This is inspiring stuff @iMichaelDeVine. Glad to know that you've found your rhythm after what sounds like an exhausting period.
I was in a similar situation myself and this post gave me further clarity. Thanks for sharing.
@therishgupta Personal growth is the goal for now.
I see it as a cycle. Your investment in self makes you capable of investing in other assets.
The profits generated from these assets can be reinvested into your personal growth for even bigger opportunities.
