جمہوریت میں مقابلہ یہ تو نہیں ہوتا نا کہ تمام ہارنے والوں کے ووٹ جمع کر کے جی��نے والے کے مینڈیٹ کو چیلنج کیا جائے۔
فیصلہ سازی کا اختیار اسی جماعت کو ملتا ہے جو اکثریت حاصل کر کے حکومت بناتی ہے۔ لہٰذا بات ووٹوں کی مجموعی تعداد کی نہیں، مینڈیٹ کی ہوتی ہے۔

خیبر پختونخوا کے عوام نے ووٹ عمران خان کے نام پر دیا اور حکومت بنانے کا اختیار پی ٹی آئی کو۔ جب عمران خان پارٹی کے چیئرمین اور اس مینڈیٹ کی علامت ہیں تو صوبے کے بجٹ جیسے اہم معاملات پر ان کی رائے لینا صرف سیاسی ہی نہیں بلکہ اخلاقی تقاضا بھی ہے۔ایک صوبے کے لوگوں نے جس شخص کے نام پہ ووٹ دیا اسی صوبے کے وسائل کی تقسیم پر اس سے مشاورت کیوں نہ ہو؟
اسی اصول پر دیگر تمام سیاسی جماعتیں بھی اپنے اپنے قائدین سے رہنمائی لیتی ہیں۔

Deeply disturbed by the news coming from across the LoC. The killing of more than a dozen protesting civilians and police personnel is extremely sad. The Government there should know better than to use force to handle public grievance and demands in this manner.
When people take to the streets to express their concerns, it is a signal that they seek to be heard. It is the responsibility of those in authority to listen, engage and peacefully resolve the matter, rather than allow it to escalate into violence, arbitrary arrests and loss of life.
Hope and pray that better sense prevails and the matter is handled with maturity while addressing the concerns of the people.

Just saw your tweet after leaving Kot Lakhpat jail trial in Lahore and spending four hours in this summer heat with Shah Mahmood Qureshi, Dr Yasmin Rashid, Mian Mahmood ur Rasheed, Ejaz Chaudhry and Omar Sarfraz Cheema. 

Do you know how many hundreds of hot summer days or cold winter days have I spent during the last three years doing the Cypher trial in Adyala or the 9 May trails in Kot Lakhpat Jail? 

And if you want to compare me with Hamid Khan or any Bar president who won with PTI support, how many such days have they spent attending either Jail trial? Mostly none or a few times at max.

This was a gathering of friends and senior corporate lawyers at Lahore Gymkhana and I will leave it at that.

However, I would love to know who fed you this narrative? That person must be the turncoat in making you are referring to and the chaos agent!
