इस फिल्म में पंजाब के पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री बेअंत सिंह की हत्या करने वाले बब्बर खालसा इंटरनेशनल जो भारत सरकार की प्रतिबंधित आतंकी सूची में पहले पायदान पर है के आत्मघाती हमलावर को बैकग्राउंड में सूरमा और सबटाइटल्स में आध्यात्मिक योद्धा बताकर इतनी खूबसूरती से महिमामंडित किया गया है मानो वह कोई समाज सुधारक हो

तथ्य यह है कि जिस केपीएस गिल को इस प्रोपेगैंडा फिल्म में विलेन दिखाया गया है उन्होंने पंजाब से उग्रवाद का सफाया किया था जबकि 1990 91 के दौरान जब उन्हें 2 साल के लिए हटाया गया था तब आतंकियों ने बसों से उतार उतारकर पहचान पत्र देख देखकर बेकसूर हिंदुओं और सिखों का कत्लेआम किया था जिसे फिल्म ने पूरी तरह गायब कर दिया

कुल मिलाकर दिलजीत जी की यह राष्ट्रभक्ति महज़ एक व्यावसायिक मजबूरी है जहाँ वो एक हाथ से भगवान को याद करते हैं और दूसरे हाथ से उसी उग्रवाद को ग्लोरीफाई करने वाली फिल्मों से नोट बटोरते हैं सच्ची देशभक्ति और छद्म प्रोपेगैंडा का ऐसा कॉम्बो पैक सचमुच दुर्लभ है
