Baseball Programs can be built with a system.
The system I created is based on decades of trial and error.
Now I share it all on the Baseball Program Blueprint newsletter.
I take deep dives into the 5 Pillars of a Successful Program each week.

AMERICA’S TEAM HAS DONE IT AGAIN🔥
The 4-seed UW Milwaukee Panthers advance to their first regional final in program history tallying 26 runs in their historic 2-0 start
We are excited for another action-packed season on the road and at Young Field. Check out our 2026 Patriots roster and schedule. #RollPats#WestFargoBaseball
St Mary’s- 89.6 mph average beat number one overall seed
VCU- 89.4 mph average knocked off Tennessee
Washington State- 88.2 mph average was a P5 school until 2 minutes ago
UW Milwaukee- 90.2 mph 2-0 and in regional final
Little Rock- 90.1 mph beat USM and are 2-0 in the regional final
But hey, U Miami rolled a stable of 93-97mph arm out of the bullpen who couldn’t throw strikes and got absolutely blasted
Take a bow Megan Grant and Jordan Woolery 👏
They end their collegiate careers as the only duo in D-I history with 250 career RBI each over the same 4-season span and with 30 HR each in the same season 🔥
2026 Regional Avg FB Velo across all 64 Regional teams is 90.8 MPH.
🔥 Highest: Wake Forest — 94.4 MPH
📉 Lowest: Alabama State — 84.7 MPH
A few takeaways:
• 90+ MPH is no longer elite at the college level — it's becoming the standard.
• Nearly every Regional features multiple staffs averaging 91-93+.
• Velocity isn't everything... but it's becoming increasingly difficult to survive without it.
If you want to play at a competitive D1 program… 90MPH is the benchmark.
Velo gets your foot in the door… secondary pitches and command get you innings‼️
