I’ll tell my kids that this is the man that decided to leave a prime Bayern team to join a rebuilding Barca squad and brought them back to the top.

🇷🇺 MOMENT OF DIPLOMACY 🇨🇳
When Vladimir Putin jokes… the room listens.
Calling Xi Jinping a “lone warrior” even in a formal setting shows confidence, chemistry, and control.
A rare moment where diplomacy meets humor
and even Xi couldn’t hold back a smile
Strength isn’t just power. It’s presence. 🇷🇺
🚨 OFFICIAL: FC Barcelona complaint to UEFA.
“Barcelona has submitted a complaint to UEFA regarding the refereeing performance in the Champions League quarter-final tie played against Atlético Madrid.
The club considers that, across both legs of the tie, several refereeing decisions were made that did not comply with the Laws of the Game, resulting from an incorrect application of the regulations and a lack of appropriate intervention by the VAR system in incidents of clear significance.
According to FC Barcelona, the accumulation of these errors had a direct impact on the course of the matches and on the final outcome of the tie, causing significant sporting and financial harm to the club.
Through this complaint, the Club reiterates the requests previously made to UEFA and, at the same time, offers to collaborate with the organisation with the aim of improving the refereeing system to ensure a more rigorous, fair and transparent application of the Laws of the Game”.
🚨🗣️ Thierry Henry on Barcelona Vs Atletico Madrid both-leg officiating controversy:
“I’m sorry, but what did I just watch over two legs? Because that’s not football, that’s decisions deciding games.
First leg, you send off Cubarsí for that? Minimal contact, the boy barely touches him and suddenly it’s a red card that flips the entire tie. Then you have a clear handball inside the six-yard box from Pubill, he literally stops the ball with his hand like he’s playing basketball and VAR just… goes quiet? How is that even possible at this level?
Koke is out there doing late challenges, off-ball stuff all game, no cards. Not even a warning. But on the other side, Eric García gets a straight red when Koundé is literally right there to cover? So now we’re rewriting the ‘last man’ rule as we go?
And don’t get me started on Olmo, pushed from behind, clear as day, no penalty. Then you count the fouls Atlético made… how many yellows? Zero? Come on. You can’t tell me that’s normal.
Then Ferran scores, and we’re talking about offside on a rebound situation? That goal should stand. Simple.
At some point, you stop calling it ‘bad luck’ and you start asking real questions. Because when every big decision goes one way, it’s not coincidence anymore. Barcelona didn’t just lose this tie… they were taken out of it.”
