香港宏福苑大火造成146人死亡，仍有超过40人失踪。有香港民众自发成立“大埔宏福苑火灾关注组”，并针对这场灾情提出追究监管失职等诉求的联署。不过有消息指出，一名参与发起该场活动的24岁港人关靖丰（Miles Kwan）周六（11月29日）因涉及“煽动”，被香港警方国安处拘留。

香港警方向香港01表示，警方采取任何行动均会按实际情况，依法处理。但并未正面回应关靖丰是否被捕。

该项联署包含四项诉求：“持续支援受灾居民，确保妥善安置”、“成立独立调查委员会，全面彻查潜在利益输送”、“重新审视工程监管制度，拒绝祭旗了事”、“全力追究监管疏忽、问责政府官员”。

据路透社报导，该项联署已在周六下午停止，累积获得超过1万人支持；“大埔宏福苑火灾关注组”的社交群组随后也关闭。目前，已出现另一名现居海外的大埔居民也发起相同诉求的联署，周日（30日）已获得超过2700人支持。

上周五，关靖丰在发送联署传单时曾接受法新社采访，当时被问及是否担心被逮捕时，关靖丰表示，他只是“提出了一些非常基本的要求”，“如果这样被认为是煽动或‘越界’，那我觉得我再也无法预测任何事情的后果”。

除了关靖丰外，香港文汇报指出，港警国安处周日（30日）进一步拘捕两人，一人为香港立法会前区议员张锦雄，另一人则为火灾现场的女义工。香港01称，张锦雄是因涉嫌“煽动仇恨政府”被捕；李姓女义工则是曾在现场呼吁灾民，不要轻易将个人资料提供给不明人士。

周六，中国驻港国家安全公署曾发声明批评，部分人士趁机散布虚假资讯，攻击特区政府的救灾表现，指其目的是挑动分化，重演2019年“修例风波”的混乱局面，“妄图以灾乱港”，并称相关行径“必受道德谴责与法律惩戒”。
