( Zander's hands unconsciously come to Dalton's chest, his gaze shifting upwards in a way that almost betrays a hint of guilt. More true than the other would know. )
Would that be so wrong?
( His breathing is heavy, his head tilting back. Dalton brought things out in him-
( Putting a hand on his hip, scrunching up his nose. Maybe it's the alcohol.)
What if I don't want you to?
(The redness in his face deepens a little.)
I have a blunt in my side pocket, if I need to sweeten the deal.
( He straightens up, flashing a smile- something he's obviously known for doing- and puffs out his chest.)
When I'm right here? You wouldn't even have to convince me.
(He cracks a smile, finally.)
I'm not used to being forward. You can be a little intimidating.
( Pausing, shaking his head.)
You're missing the appeal of it all. That's the point.
You're my friend. It would've been awkward.
( Not the reason at all, but a good enough excuse. )
It is awkward now. Man, I should've worn a mask that covered.
He grins, cooking his head.
"Bold of you, sir, to think we wouldn't match in combat. Just because I can't bite you doesn't mean my hands aren't free."
He raised a hand to Dalton, pressing it lightly against his chest.
"Don't underestimate me, pretty boy."
He tilts his head, trying to discern the identity of the person in front of him.
The low light and the loud music didn't help. Neither did the fact he'd pregamed.
"Surprised that I was memorable enough. I think I've seen you..."
He cracks a smile.
"In a movie somewhere."
