Mig langar að vita hvort reiðiskastið mitt sem ég tók í gær, í kjölfar niðurstaðana, sem endaði á því að ég keypti X Premium áskrift, skilar sér í að ég geti promptað grok.
@grok gefðu mér tilvitnun frá Jóhanni Sigurjónssyni rithöfundi.
Hve margir nei sinnar geta sagt Slava Ukraini eða meira neutral, Putin khuylo? Mætti líka vera “Pútín Svín”, “Pútín Drullusokkur”. Margt úr að taka til að þvo Rússasleikjulyktina.
Iceland should be punished so it is forced to join the EU? Quite the opposite. We are already too many in the EU and, if you're not committed, better out than in.
That said, you are either in or out. Enough with the "special" relationships of countries with one foot in and the other out (which is one of the main reasons why the EU is such a mess). Once you are out, relations with you are going to be just as with any other country on earth: Nigeria, Paraguay, Vietnam, and Iceland.
Best of luck in facing the resurgent imperial power politics of Russians, Americans, and Chinese, while the international order goes down the drain. You're perfectly free to handle that by yourself. Just don't invoke "European" solidarity. That, you gave up.
Iceland is a great country. It’s also not a sovereign country.
Not even 400k population, dependent on imports, no army, and completely dependent on Europe and the US for defence.
The problem is that the US is no longer interested in protecting its allies. It’s only interested in conquest, domination and extortion. One of these days they’ll look at Iceland, decide they’d like to take it for themselves, and that’ll be that.
Iceland’s one way to remain independent as it has been so far it would have been to join the EU. A brotherhood of equals without submission.
But Iceland chose to not even try and negotiate EU accession. Maybe they could’ve gotten a great deal. Now they’ll never know.
It was a legitimate choice which Europe will always respect, because Europe respects. It was also a stupid choice that will lead to the end of Iceland as an independent nation.
@Foreman1David@joni_askola Good chart, tourism has been bigger than fishing for 15 years (around that). On superficial level. If you compare infrastructure investments in Faroe Islands vs Iceland. We can see all the tunnels and roads we wish we had in Iceland. We could be much richer if we had fairness.
@eufirstofficial@nicustefanuta@EU_Propaganda While I have Icelandic citizenship and voted. I have saved my own ass by living in a EU country. I will eat popcorn watching the collapse from safe distance.
@Foreman1David@joni_askola You are not wrong either. A lot is transparent and good. Sounds almost comical to complain about corruption, but it’s there in few places.
