@PhilMiller2911 Ah, yes I could see that in different areas. BWI and PHL the same drive time for us, and both offered direct flights where we needed to go. Only ever had a good experience with Spirit

@PhilMiller2911 Worked for me and my family! Packed in backpacks, brought our own snacks and downloaded movies. Never flew more than 3 hours so it was fine. Gave us opportunities to travel on a smaller budget.

I’ve been thinking and praying for them ever since Saturday morning. Every company has bad apples, but I haven’t met any on Spirit.

@luckington24 @America42085192 @BullandBaird This avoids the carrier interface fee. I have done this for years on multiple flights. I have never had an issue with Spirit airlines. On Tuesday there was none of the behavior you see on X. It was families headed to the Florida parks, some kids to cheer conventions…

However, the reason we fly spirit is I was able to get round trip tickets for my family of 4, for $310 total. So being out the funds is frustrating, but isn’t going to bankrupt us
