@TheEmilySee Obviously the use of words of affirmation as a therapeutic treatment triggered a little something in me too. I need happy thoughts and a smoke. Sometimes it’s just too sad.
@TheEmilySee I feel like this would be a “and furthermore” moment!
And furthermore, retired judge Carol Erskine said it is not a medical or legal unit of measure or standard in MA.
So it’s just crisis hotline scripture like “words of affirmation”
Can we talk about “having a PLAN”?
Not to minimize the weight of what we’re talking about, but rather to hopefully make this stick for anyone who might need help in the future -
Imagine I reach out to a friend to get dinner next week. She says yes, but then in that conversation we can’t decide on a restaurant. Ultimately we say “let’s just see what we’re in the mood for that day.”
We. Have. A. Plan. We don’t know where we’re going, we might not even know which day next week, or the day might end up changing, but we still have a plan to get dinner next week.
The moral of the story: If someone reaches out for help, help them.
@kelly_steffee Yep, the social worker. And I told my doctor as i had a scheduled induction so she would do the delivery because we were expecting complications.
Ian Whiffin just testified it’s “quite rare” for a phone to record a flight of stairs using Apple health data, if you weren’t actually on stairs.
In the Read case, when JOKs phone recorded 3 flights of stairs- Mr. “Quiet Rare” claimed it was while driving in a car.
Normal 😹😹
