I see why devs don't like it but I also don't think it's right for a dev to be able to use steam as a glorified ad to get a game in front of people's eyes and sell it cheaper on a different platform.

@lyrander @SubRayven @Hamzaonchain @Pirat_Nation It doesn't. There are no steam features in the game, you can't even use steam to invite players to your game. I'm not a legal expert on whether what valve or uplay did was illegal I just know you're wrong about that particular point. I personally am not mad at valve about this.

Everyone playing the game is running it through uplay, the only thing handled by steam for the steam version is downloading updates and launching the game, which really just launches uplay and then the game through uplay.

@Vincentvem @RyanEversley @RickWareRacing I haven't seen any of the TV broadcast but the turn 3 grandstands where I was at were packed and we could see people lining rooftops from our seats. There aren't numbers for attendance yet but given last year was 150,000 I'd say it couldn't have been less than 130,000 this year

@Vincentvem @RyanEversley @RickWareRacing It did feel a little less crowded this year but I'd hardly say turnout was horrible in detroit. I think it definitely gets a few more people now that it's not on belle isle, at least it feels way more crowded.

@Legendz_Senpai @SubRayven @Hamzaonchain @Pirat_Nation I think a lot of people pick up free games on epic but I don't know anyone that actually buys games on it. I only ever bought cyberpunk on it because of the delayed release to steam and that really annoyed me
