Tsarist Era (1547–1917)
1.Livonian War (1558–1583) – Russia invaded the Livonian Confederation (modern-day Estonia and Latvia) seeking to expand its influence in the Baltic region.
2.Russo-Polish War (1609–1618) – Russia attacked Poland-Lithuania in an attempt to regain lost territories.
3.Russo-Swedish War (1656–1658) – Russia launched an invasion of Sweden’s Baltic territories.
4.Great Northern War (1700–1721) – Russia (under Peter the Great) attacked Sweden to gain access to the Baltic Sea.
5.Russo-Turkish Wars (various, 17th–19th centuries) – Russia initiated multiple wars against the Ottoman Empire to gain control over the Black Sea and Balkans.
6.Russo-Persian War (1804–1813, 1826–1828) – Russia attacked Persia (Iran) to expand into the Caucasus.
