Two days in and my little ones in Reception are amazing. They’re settling into routines and quickly finding their feet! They’re definitely keeping me on my toes 😊
Calling Reception parents…
Here is your first Chatter Time task. This weekend, please talk to your child about Remembrance Day and why we celebrate it every year! We have discussed this in class so hopefully they can tell you a little bit too. Enjoy chatting!
In EYFS this week, we have remembered the soldiers who fought for our country. We have made biscuits, poppies and wreaths! The children also enjoyed taking part in our two minute silence, listening the The Last Post whilst reflecting.
Just before we broke up for half term, we had another exciting day! We got to meet some real life Police Officers. They spent time with us talking about how they help us. Thank you so much for coming along. 😊 👮♀️ 👮♂️ 🚓
Today has been an exciting day! We had a visit from Eccleston Fire Station. We didn’t have long but in the short time we did have, some of us looked at the tools and some of us had a go at the water hose. We even heard its loud side siren!
We’ve had such an exciting couple of weeks. We’ve had visits from a lollipop lady, a postman and an author too! The children have thoroughly enjoyed meeting them and have enjoyed asking them lots of questions too. I wonder who we’ll meet next week?
What a day we’ve had! We have been very busy painting, writing our names, preparing our own snack and making predictions about what could be inside the egg. This is what we thought. We can’t wait to find out. I wonder when it will hatch?
