HELP! My son has leukemia and @FLBlue DENIED covering CAR-T that Moffitt says is needed to avoid marrow transplant. They want to save $ and go straight to transplant despite a 20% MORTALITY rate from donor/host issues. So they're OK with killing 1 in 5 members over $?😳

We are not looking to start a go fund me or anything like that. We just want @FLBlue to pay for the help his premiums are supposed to cover. So if you know anyone there with pull, please help! Or if you can just please REPOST this by clicking that button, it may get enough eyeballs to get their attention while THERE IS STILL TIME for him to get the CAR-T! 🙏

The very reason doctors have developed CAR-T is to PREVENT patients from having to risk the dangers of a bone marrow transplant. But @FLBlue wants to IGNORE all the recent MD Anderson studies and just stick with the outdated medicine because it's cheaper.

They should not be allowed to gamble my son's life (or anyones!) to save a few bucks. Who in their right mind would OPT for a procedure that has a 20% chance of killing them... when CAR-T is safe and FDA approved and SUPPOSEDLY covered by @FLBlue!

What are the parameters? Is it just anyone can kill themselves? Are they suffering from a terminal disease. I have stage 4 cancer and have seriously contemplated an early termination when the pain becomes unbearable even with painkillers. I personally think it is immoral to make someone suffer when there is no hope left.

Summit success! We're thrilled to announce that 13 climbers from Team Peaks reached the summit of #Kilimanjaro, and the entire team is safe! 🎉 This is an incredible achievement.

They kicked off their summit adventure at 11 pm (Africa time) and reached the top around 7 am. After this monumental effort, they'll head back to camp for some much-needed rest, a warm meal, and then begin their descent.

Tomorrow, they'll continue down and are expected back in town by the afternoon. A celebration party awaits, along with the comforts of a shower, a hotel stay, and a cozy bed before they head home.
