@tylerrdawson Let's make a note of this day Tyler. As crazy as it sounds, with an inflationary surge and a bunch of GOP wins in 2022 Senate elections, Joe Biden could be fast tracking KXL before 2024.
@howardanglin@IvisonJ I wonder if it’s possible Carney’s version was the negotiated deal; Trump/Lutnick found out and has demanded the latter.
That’s giving Carney the benefit of the doubt, which I do reluctantly. I truly believe he’s getting the 2nd deal.
@MJIrish86@PaulWBurmeister Couldn’t agree more Michael. I am just watching it now, and Paul’s preparation is top shelf. What’s really striking is how interested he is in Phil’s story and how great he is at asking only what needs to be asked.
Just superb, superb interviewing.
@ExnerPirot@TorranceCoste@bcndp Are we sure the feds aren't just preemptively bailing out a province that would otherwise risk economic collapse? I don't say that facetiously.
Electricity is still going to be a massive challenge in BC.
@ExnerPirot@StratAnalytica IF the AI bubble is pricked by even a slow leak, there will be opportunities to get grid scale equipment at reduced prices. Demand right now is insane, with wait times up to seven years.
This is another consequence of the CER - we could not plan for the future. Costs are now 2X.
@DaleALeckie Live on the east end of Bowmont. We go out our back gate, stroll down the sidewalk, and an incredible world of nature opens up. In the 25 years we lived there, I can't begin to estimate how many miles we and ours dogs have covered just between home and Silver Springs.

I can meet the surgeon in Calgary, get imaging in Calgary, etc, and then drive to Burnaby to have it done. Someone from Burnaby does the same - then drives to Calgary for the operation.
There’s no rational reason to do it and complicates major surgery unnecessarily.

Anyone defending the Canada Health Act needs help. It of course is applied differently in QC, but the fact that as an Albertan I can do everything to pay for joint replacement except have the actual procedure in my home province is insane.
It’s indefensibly stupid.
@oldcanadaseries@TerryFoxCanada Our greatest Canadian.
I will never forget Alison Ince on CBC: "Terry has completed the last kilometre of his marathon".
😢
@cbcwatcher I can't read the editorial - perhaps the answer to this question is in it. How many day care operators went out of business because the funding model affected their viability?
@mrowley1987@ikwilson Something happened with Boessenkool a few years ago. There was a distinct change in his demeanour, and he started levelling criticisms not as observations but directly towards individuals. Just my personal observation from afar.
To each his own.
