I greatly enjoyed giving the opening talk at the 27th Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (Canada) National Conference, held last month in Toronto, speaking about "The Trust Industry: Ways Forward for the Next Decade" to an audience of a thousand wealth management experts.
I much enjoyed talking about whether trusts should be made legal persons at the Trusts, Wealth Management and Philanthropy conference, held at the Hong Kong University Faculty of Law. Thanks to Yiran Shi, an up-and-coming trusts researcher, for the photo.
