"It was a no-brainer to come back here. To have an opportunity to do this with this staff and this group of players, I'm blessed."
- Cyclone Football Head Coach Jimmy Rogers.
Football season may be a few months away, yet on Saturday the Sukup End Zone Club at Jack Trice Stadium was filled with Cyclone Gridiron Club members, eager to greet and support the coaching staff. In addition to getting to hear Coach Rogers share his journey to Iowa State and his goals for the program, supporters also heard from the coordinators and position coaches. Look for future posts acquainting you with those leaders. Join the Cyclone Gridiron Club to support ISU Football and get first-hand updates, plus attend special events. https://t.co/C9B5Tq1jJH @CycloneFB
There is never an excuse for talking to a young person like that on any platform. He was paid fair market value and any of us would take the money if it were offered. At the same time I’m a little put off with him playing the victim but that attitude seems to start at the top of KState men’s basketball.
