85g hoglet brought in and sibling was found later. Removed fly strike & check over. Put him down to grab the formula. I didn’t even notice the tin was there but he did! Meet Cal, helping himself to some food! Just goes to show how they can get into trouble and get stuck in tins!

There is so much you can do to help hedgehogs, many will still be hibernating so it’s important not to disturb them and check areas closely before clearing. Every spring we admit numerous strimmer and gardening related injury cases. Please THINK HEDGEHOG 🦔🐾

If you have regular hedgehogs visiting your garden and provide for them, please tell all your neighbours.
Even if it doesn't encourage them to also feed, they will come to you if they see a hedgehog in trouble.
That can make the difference between life and death to a casualty.
