Patrick Rusoke, the district councilor for Buraru sub-county has been released on court bail of sh1m none cash. He was released this morning by Hoima chief magistrate's court presided over George Mfutindinda who ordered him to reappear before court on 4th/09/2024

Composed of Butema parish, St Cyprian town Parish, Bulindi parish and St Raphael Chaplaincy, the new DEANARY today elected its pioneer leadership.
Hon. Vincent Muhumuza from St Cyprian Parish was elected the chair deputized by Mr. Joseph Bigirwa from Bulindi Parish.

The government is extended electricity to parishes of Katereiga and Kyohairwe in Buhanika sub-county, Hoima district. Residents and leaders say this will boom the business sector.

Close to ten thousand (10,000) textbooks for Secondary school new curriculum have been donated to 28 secondary schools in Hoima and Kikuube districts.

The donation was made by Hon Dr. Patrick Mwesigwa Isingoma Obama, the legislator for Hoima East Division, Hoima Oil City.
