Yeah, same.

Once my trade moves 2R, I move my SL to entry point.

This is a backtested approach I’ve stuck with for 2 years.

From my data, 8 out of 10 times when my trades reaches 2R and then retraces all the way back to entry, it has a 70–80% chance of eventually taking out my original SL.

My winning trades do not retrace.

So for me, protecting the trade to entry at 2R just makes sense.
