Agent change “under process” on 12 August.
Promised timeline: 7–10 working days.
Renewal completed.
Agent still unchanged.

By September, the only thing successfully processed was my patience.

Multiple emails, multiple acknowledgements, multiple assurances but apparently changing an agent requires more time than processing a claim.

Impressive coordination. 👏

At this point, I’m beginning to think “under process” is not a status — it’s a permanent department at HDFC ERGO.

No emails Have been received further, query has not been solved. Do not mislead on social media by putting generic response. I do not understand how difficult is to change the service agent. Trust me Smit Machchhar has saved us from a generational shame. He didn’t just save 174 people, but he also did something that will make our country look positive in the West.

Just imagine if he hadn’t shown such bravery. The whole Western media and Western people could have already convicted him as a perpetrator, and the amount of shame they could have brought upon India is unimaginable.
