@Suitandtie9999 I’m in that category, I’m not rich, I have a mortgage on an average home and just trying to get a financial backing behind me. I am not happy to pay more taxes that I know will just be wasted.
@Suitandtie9999 It’s a policy for Wellingtonians. If you live somewhere like Hamilton, it’s next to impossible to get the bus to where you actually need to go, particularly workers who don’t work in the cbd.
@Julie_nzkiwi Of course he has. It does make you wonder if he has a decent relationship with Chambers or thought he should get the top job and will now make life difficult for Chambers.
@Suitandtie9999 If they win… it will take them three years before they can sort the details out let alone implement anything and by then they’ll be out of government again.
@AgentSmith_NZ NZ has a major problem with productivity…these incompetent fools are just an example. Can’t get anything done, and fail to deliver. They’ve had two years to come up with it and this is all they have???? How do they think they will implement these plans.
@dpfdpf They’ve announced two policies so far….one they’re funding through a tax which is unlikely to generate enough revenue to cover the cost and the other they can’t work out how to do it. Thats two years of work. No wonder the public service takes years to do anything.
Giggle Pty Ltd has lost their appeal, and been ordered to pay increased damages of $20,000 to trans-activist Roxanne Tickle.
A sad day for upholding biological reality in Australia.
@the_salty_one_ She had enough money to go back to Tonga for a funeral. Maybe should have spent that on her kids, some of which are old enough to be working and helping (21!). She will have contributed nothing as a taxpayer to Nz but wants us to pay everything for her.
@aniobrien I’ve been to Cuba. Infrastructure is abysmal. The people are living in poverty unless their kids can get to America and send money home to support the family. But rum was very cheap! The Greens have no idea.
@investigatemag Businesses use the most fuel and they can claim the GST back. It’s only the GST they earn on non-GST registered purchasers (ie individuals) that is true revenue.
