@educationgovuk and Teaching Assistants? We are the grease that keeps the cogs going around. Without us many pupils would not reap the maximum benefit of all the learning provided by teachers. In Sept our skills will be required more than ever to support the mental health of pupils returning.
@WMerlins To the parents of all the Merlins, thank you so much for your generous gifts. It has been an absolute pleasure working with Year 6, especially seeing your personalities flourish while performing MacBeth. Keep working hard and you will all do well. Mrs H
@WMerlins It was a lovely day. How I have missed all the interesting conversations! I’m am so pleased we have some time in school together again before this brilliant bunch of Year 6s move on.
My word! I had to keep reminding myself about Austin’s butterfly for this one. Think this is version #15 and I still have wonky eyes and an odd fringe!
It’s true that while humans are in lockdown wildlife is flourishing. Dolphins have returned to Venice, goats are wandering around Llandudno. This was my journey to school today. #WildWarter
A good book makes me cry - I sobbed! A brilliant read that deals honestly with a sensitive subject. Made me ask so many questions. Should a witch be saved? Is the bad guy always the bad guy? Does a person of faith also have belief? Is a monster always out to harm you? #Year6
Book recommendation : The Many Worlds Of Albie Bright by Christopher Edge. Albie’s Mum used to work at CERN. Albie remembers this and creates a quantum physics experiment to help him travel to other universes. Funny, little bit sad and great for budding scientists.
