@amandammoray @Laclusazedenroc @Qantas Hi both, it appears I was the lucky one in this situation - went to Heathrow as advised by customer services only to find the flight had in fact been cancelled (not what I’d been told), but they managed to put me on the 9:50 flight to Darwin. Fingers crossed you get on tomorrow!

@Qantas I am due to fly tomorrow QF10 Heathrow-Darwin. Advised earlier today my flight was rescheduled for Monday, but my online account still states departure is tomorrow at 11:20. Have been on hold to customer services for 2 hours now .. any help?!

@OpenUpAustralia Hi! I am in the UK and my partner is in Australia. I’ve been applying for exemptions for travel as a de facto partner but it keeps getting rejected. Do you have any advice?! Seeing flights come into Aus is hard when I keep getting my exemption requests rejected!

@OpenUpAustralia Thank you. Just got yet another email rejecting my exemption application stating I don’t meet the requirements despite detailing all evidence they have asked for 😭

@ausgov Hi, I have been trying to get to Australia to be with my partner since last year. Do I need an exemption as a de facto partner? I keep applying and I am getting rejected, but according to the government website I meet exemption criteria. Please help!!
