A great morning with Kew’s Krew exploring waves! Students explored with water, tools, and a ping pong ball to make waves and observe. Then, they recorded their findings in their #STEAM journals. They were so excited about what they had discovered! @NSDCentral @NeoshoSD

The best way to celebrate Wacky Wednesday is to launch a PBL Unit! They kicked it off with a scavenger hunt to find a letter from first grade suggesting that they create a math garden to help @NSDCentral students with math, reading, and mindfulness!

After studying about rights for people with disabilities and the invention of Braille, Mr. Smith's 3rd grade class @NSDCentral is writing in Braille! They are exploring tools and the right materials for the task!

Students are discussing and writing knows and need to knows to drive their learning during the Hangry Birds PBL Unit in 2nd grade @NSDCentral!

Endangered Species PBL Unit is in full swing in Ms. Kew's and Mrs. Lee's 4th grade classes @NSDCentral! Students are asking good questions about their driving question and showing what they know about animal habitats with a model. Awesome examples of integrating STEAM & PBL!

First Grade @NSDCentral is discussing deadlines for their Character Carnival. Our littlest learners are creating games to teach students about our character words! Can't wait to see their final drafts! #PBL
