3 years ago, I became a stroke survivor. At the time, it felt like my whole world stopped. I cannot stress how vital it was for me as a young (ish) stroke survivor to hear the stories of people who had been through the same thing and had come out the other side of the trauma.

Dionne and Sue had never met before. But when we brought them together for #WorldStrokeDay they bonded instantly over their shared 'trauma' of surviving a stroke.
