I’ve tried to be a lot better about the language I use on social media. But this response from @JDVance is a level of asshole that needs to be no where near the vice-presidency, the Senate, or any other elect office.

Normalizing school violence is not leadership. Calling it a “fact of life” is weak & pathetic, and an abdication of the awesome responsibility of protecting this nation, especially our children.

We should have leaders who want America to be a nation where active shooter drills and school shootings in our schools become our past, not accepting them as an inevitable of our future.
