October 2026 GEO Product Roundup
ADSM (Algorithm → Data → Strategy → Media) is the patented dual-certified GEO framework developed by HollyGlobe’s R&D teams. It reverse-engineers recommendation logic across 10+ AI platforms with up to 95% match accuracy, helping brands enter the AI citation chain.
Real-time data monitoring tracks brand exposure and competitor gaps on Doubao, DeepSeek, Qwen, ChatGPT and more. Insights drive LLM-optimized content strategy and large-scale media distribution, delivering up to 75% improvement in AI recommendation rates.
The closed ADSM loop (Define → Analyze → Optimize → Measure), backed by CAC dual filings and invention patents, turns GEO into a measurable, scalable system for lasting brand visibility in the AI era.
Agency or in-house — who should own your AI visibility?
Every Hong Kong marketing team is having this argument in 2026. Here is the honest two-column comparison:
AGENCY
- Time to first result: 4–6 weeks
- Monthly cost: US$1,800–US$8,500
- Method: tested playbook
- Real cost driver: the retainer
- Best when: you have no dedicated team
IN-HOUSE
- Time to first result: 3–6 months
- Monthly cost: engineer and analyst time
- Method: built from scratch
- Real cost driver: production-quality data pipelines
- Best when: you need your own proprietary data
The hidden asterisk: in-house, the API bill is rarely the cost you avoid. The real cost is engineering time to reach production quality.
The 2026 reality check: Adobe found 98% of marketers have no confident AI search strategy, and only 22% have fully integrated AI search and SEO.

Should you buy more ads, or earn the citation? The 2026 numbers:
PAID MEDIA — WHAT YOU RENT
· Google's share of ad budgets fell from 62% to 57% in twelve months (Billy Grace benchmark, Aug 2026)
· Median paid media investment rose 17.5% while cost per click fell 10.8%
· 29% of marketers are moving dollars out of paid media to fund AI-search visibility (ACCESS Newswire, 2026)
AI ANSWERS — WHAT YOU OWN
· Click-through with an AI summary: 8%, versus 15% without (Pew Research)
· Zero-click share of Google queries: 56% to 69% (Similarweb, mid-2024 to mid-2025)
· Organic clicks fall 38% on AI-summary queries (Indian School of Business + Carnegie Mellon, 2026)
· 82% of B2B technology searches now trigger an AI summary (BrightEdge)
Paid media buys attention that stops when you stop paying. A citation keeps working inside the answer — on every engine that reuses it.

Where do buyers actually start looking in 2026 — and who makes the shortlist before you get a call?
We ranked the five layers that decide it:
1. AI ASSISTANTS. 51% of B2B software buyers start research in a chatbot more often than Google, up from 29%; 94% use LLMs in the buying journey. (G2, 1,076 buyers; 6sense)
2. THE SALES REP. 69% validate AI-generated insights with a rep, across an average of 7 information sources per purchase. (Gartner, 645 buyers)
3. YOUR OWN WEBSITE. When an AI recommendation leads to a weak site, 97% of shoppers reconsider — only 3% buy anyway. (Contentsquare, Sep 2026)
4. REVIEWS AND UGC. The leading review platform appears on one third of AI-cited product pages with reviews — about 2x the next platform. (Bazaarvoice, Sep 2026)
5. THE BUYING GROUP. A typical B2B group spans about 12 internal stakeholders and 10 external influencers. (Forrester, Sep 2026)
The shortlist is built in layers one and three — before any sales conversation.

Which AI engine changes its brand recommendations depending on who is asking?
New research (23 Sept 2026) analysed 8,609 AI responses — six personas, three consumer categories, 30 prompts. Here is our 2026 ranking of the Personalization Gap: how far each engine's brand list moves once it knows the person asking.
1. Gemini — 33.3 points of brand-set divergence. The largest effect measured.
2. ChatGPT — 16.0 points. Enough to change which brand a buyer sees.
3. Perplexity — 7.2 points. Steadier, more source-driven.
4. Claude — no detectable change in its recurring brand set.
5. The market underneath them — Gemini now takes up to 30% of prompt volume and Claude up to 11%, with ChatGPT still near half (Comscore, Q2 2026).
One number matters most in Hong Kong: accounts primed with a local history showed a 6.6-point rise in UK/EU brands and a 4.9-point fall in US brands. Geography is now a ranking factor.

If your visibility report comes from one logged-out query, you are measuring an answer no real buyer ever sees.

You asked ChatGPT for the best supplier in Hong Kong. Why wasn't your company in the answer?
Five findings from the newest citation research, ranked:
1. 78.5% of brands were simply missing. Across 405 AI visibility audits in June–August 2026, 78.5% of audited brands did not appear in the AI answer to a single buying question in their own category.
2. 92.6% were never cited from their own domain. Brand-owned content accounted for just 1.7% of citations — competitor domains were cited 13 times more often.
3. 76% of cited domains appeared exactly once. There is no fixed VIP list you can buy your way onto.
4. 31.2% of citations go to DA 80+ giants, and the middle is thin — which is exactly where most mid-size Hong Kong firms sit.
5. 9.2% of all citations come from YouTube and Reddit alone. Video and community sources count too.

The question is no longer whether your website ranks. It is whether the sources AI reads describe your company the same way you do.

Which AI engines actually recommend Hong Kong brands? Our 2026 ranking of the six platforms HK buyers ask.
1. ChatGPT — breadth leader. Widest English answer coverage, cites only 2-7 domains per answer.
2. DeepSeek — regional intent leader. Strongest on Chinese-language buying questions.
3. Gemini — multimodal leader. Pulls product and packaging signals from images.
4. Perplexity — citation leader. Shows the source list, so a mention is verifiable.
5. Doubao — China market leader. The default assistant for mainland-facing buyers.
6. Qwen — bilingual leader. Handles Cantonese/English queries in one answer.
The point: getting named in one engine is luck. Getting named in six is a system.
