Don't forget to Rock your Socks Tomorrow!!!
Every year on March 21st, The World Down Syndrome Association of Delaware encourages the community to celebrate World Down Syndrome Day by wearing brightly colored mismatched socks.
March 21st is symbolic because people with DS have 3 copies of their 21st chromosome. & the karyotype of Down syndrome chromosomes actually look like mismatched socks!
March 21st, celebrate World Down Syndrome Day by wearing brightly colored mismatched socks. Join the teachers on Tuesday and Rock Your Socks! You can purchase socks by bringing $2 to Mrs. Huff’s room.
