Where are the Irish monks when we need them? Library folk get the reference. Quite a few librarians and archvists are on this scary new Dark Ages problem, but there will be a global ripple effect

Happy National Library Week!!! 🤩🤩🤩 I wouldn’t be where I am today if it weren’t for libraries and librarians. You gave me hope when I was a kid. You gave me kindness when I was alone. You give me strength every day. I love you, I’m with you, and I celebrate you!!! ❤️📚🙌
It’s obvious that the faction behind the rise in book banning are not real readers, because they clearly don’t know how literature works.

This is an interesting example of what it means to take a holistic view of peoples’ needs in mind when designing places:
Our MLS students complete field experiences at libraries all over TN. Last semester, Heath Overton worked at NPL and had some great experiences including creating this book display about Ancient Greece and leading an adult reading program. Becoming a librarian is fun!
Students in my American history classes demonstrated how the 1920s was a time of great contrast, both the best of times and the worst of times, with these agamographs.
