Delighted that Unique at Penn (https://t.co/RyxeJG70x7) is considered one of the top forty rare book blogs (https://t.co/uMbuj5ICl8). Thanks to all our rare book catalogers & curators who write about their wonderful discoveries! @_feedspot
After 9.5 days, we are "done" & agile processing is a success! Linear footage remains the same, but boxes condensed from 618 to 304, all organized into series. Bonus: a new team that works together, is respectful & recognizes each others' strengths! Yay!!!!
Day 3: if a fully processed archival collection is like a beautifully plated omelette, we are currently in the 'eggs have been broken into the bowl and we are whisking vigorously' stage. I anticipate we will be in this stage for *some* time! Yay!
@mmhfraser Sadly, this is not my idea--saw a presentation on it at a conference years ago and thought it was awesome! I'm going to ask processors to write a blog post at end--so you'll know what did & didn't work!
Day 2: all known peeps and orgs are alphabetized, topics sorted into broad categories. Tomorrow we start the hard stuff: the more than 50 feet of "folders as is." Fancy term for misc? So grateful for an awesome team of processors working together!
@jbpellerito Almost every college or university has a digital library (at Penn: https://t.co/xJ5GdF6Hij); but check out this amazing resource: https://t.co/JgnPciG35n
The Ashley Bryan papers are available for research use! This is an amazing collection about an amazing and inspiring man, filled with artwork, kindness, and hope! And who cannot use a little hope these days? https://t.co/0YJ0rCTTIh
Hello friends! I am so excited that Unique at Penn & PennRare have merged into what I hope will be a "super blog!" Keep any eye out for exciting new posts from your known-authors as well as new peeps from Penn's special collections! https://t.co/hquf2WytCl @upennlib

Friends & colleagues, I am absolutely thrilled to announce that we have a full time, permanent position posted for processing archivist at Kislak! Please share widely! I'm looking for a collegial lover of collections & a friend to access! https://t.co/Hpa5yoVX3V
Although I have not tweeted for a million years, we at Kislak have been busy processing amazing collections! A new favorite item: a graphic score from the Joseph Castaldo papers! https://t.co/IlDm4uoGfu
