💚 Exciting Opportunity for First Time Fans! 💚
As the @HerGameToo ambassador for @Argyle, I’m thrilled to share that applications are now open for the @EASPORTS First Time Fans initiative!
(1/3)
What a season 🥹 so delighted we could do the job today. 🤩 couldn’t make todays match, but it has been an absolute dream to have spent every other home matchday in the media centre with the loveliest group of people & in the stands with the Green Army. 💚
Super excited for Tuesday’s @HerGameToo dedicated fixture!
Keep your eye out for @Argyle’s HGT team and all activities around the ground, and please bring in any donations that you can, to be collected for @TreviWomen.
Please help us spread the word 💚

@talkingsportzz There is no men’s tour. Other than the women’s, the rest are open. To appease your ‘why not play the other tours’ in actual fact she did, about a week ago, and won that too.
Noa Lynn wins WS Event after playing all women = outrage bc of gender identity
A week ago:
Noa Lynn wins open CT Event after playing all men = outrage bc of gender identity
For *most* commenters, this isn’t about women’s rights in sport, it’s plain and simple transphobia.
@talkingsportzz From what I’ve seen, she’s not breaking any rules & doesn’t have a ‘sporting advantage’ due to her birth gender. I support women’s rights in sports, but what I categorically do NOT support is transphobia or hiding behind those rights to condone transphobia.
@BFSCShaun I agree, it’s not unusual. But in the context of my comments, people celebrating/taking it in, & leaving their opponent hanging, doesn’t usually follow the longest walk on ever & the longest on stage composure ever where their opponent has already been left hanging a few times
Genuinely admirable sportsmanship from Humphries. Humble in defeat despite being kept waiting to walk on, to play the game & left waiting to congratulate DvdB. He’s not had the recognition he deserves this past 6 months, but you’ve got to take your hat off to him here. 🫡
@enza21 Thing is, he’s well liked and we know the way his game has changed of late, so no one was frustrated that he took the time to compose - players do that in their own little ways all the time - it was the length of time it took, it didn’t slow the game down, it literally stopped it
Luke Humphries is a tremendous ambassador for the sport. Not many people would’ve handled the situation as well as that having dealt with those antics. Gracious in defeat in difficult circumstances.
@SSJJournalism This is the worst part about it for me - Everyone calms and composes at crucial moments in their own way, but the way he does it always reeks of delay tactics or trying to throw the opponent off
@NIEX8_ You’re right - I can imagine a large amount of players wouldn’t have put up with that, and would have certainly had something to say after the fact. It’s one thing to compose yourself, but that was just too far. Humph has too much respect for people to say anything, I think!
@ZippySaturn I have zero issue with people composing themselves, I also don’t care how fast people throw, I care that it becomes bad sportsmanship and potential mind games to throw your opponent off. Delaying tactics all evening, from longest walk on to rolling around on the floor after 🤦🏻♀️
