Employment showed signs of a rebound in New Hampshire in the first half of 2026 after declining in 2025, though wage increases haven’t kept pace with inflation, according to an analysis published Wednesday by the New Hampshire Fiscal Policy Institute.

2024 Democrats are the red dot.
Absolutely critical context to any postmortem.
Election Day just doesn’t feel the same without John DiStaso.
His insights and dedication to covering New Hampshire politics are sorely missed today and every day.

My not political at all (politics is banned) FB group made up of young-ish women in NH has like 10 posts today from people who have never voted before asking how to do it today.
I don't know anyone's politics but when more people vote everyone wins. This is good.

The funniest outcome would be if we all go to bed tomorrow night with no winner declared and when we wake up it’s June 28th, the day after the Biden-Trump debate, and we’re all trapped in a 4 month long time loop for the rest of eternity.
All other polling places in NH open in the morning, though hours vary across the state.
You can find your polling place, find out when it's open, and learn more about voting in NH at https://t.co/0Me6CnJHap. There's also a phone # to call if you have any questions.
Happy E-DAY!
🗳️Hello from your friendly Granite Stater! With election day almost here, I know we’re all anxious to see results. Good news? You will get some early results TONIGHT!👀
📍At midnight, Dixville Notch kicks off voting with an iconic tradition.
Here’s a thread, because why not⬇️
The West Wing’s @CJ__Cregg once said midnight voting “predicted every president since Taft.” 📈
But in 2008, @FiveThirtyEight crunched the numbers and found that Dixville’s record is more hit-or-miss.
Everyone spending a week gaming out every possible Election Day shenanigan that could happen and how to respond. But the one that actually happens is never on your BINGO card.
Happy 4 days to E-Day!
