Davis Schneider walked twice tonight in the Buffalo Bisons' 6-3 loss to Worcester.
He has now walked 20 times in 10 games since being optioned. That's a lot. #BlueJays
@kgriffinburner6 We're playing the Orioles. They have sacrificed babies to the devil every year to have success against us since we walked them off back in 2016. Doesn't count.
Leafs heard from or spoke to 55 people as part of 1st round of coach search
GM John Chayka: "We're not as focused on some artificial timeline. We’re really focused on conviction. I think it’s been a long time since there’s been a full search for this organization ..."
@hockeymonkey66@RealDonaghy13@RobWong34@nylanderthews I think to feel comfortable trading Knies, it would have to revolve around 4th OVR, Frondell, and Korchinski OR 4th OVR, Levshunov, and some forward prospect. Absolutely an overpay by Chicago, but I wouldn't trade him unless we're getting a haul that large.
If that package was from like the Ducks or something, I wouldn't have minded the package. Definitely not something you do with a division rival, though.
Pangotta says TOR & MTL agreed to a Knies trade before the deadline. It did not get done because of "complications".
Would have been Zharkovsky, another prospect + two 1st rounders for Knies.
@Drew_Testa10@wxcameron@daysduringnal@DixiePapist@TalksToPeople Expected stats obviously don't equal results on the field, but they tell you the quality of at bats they are having. If the expected stats are strong, it is a good predictor of future results. Not as important to completed games, but they suggest strong performance in the future.
@Drew_Testa10@wxcameron@daysduringnal@DixiePapist@TalksToPeople Can expected stats miss every now and again? Sure, but that's where the eye test comes in. If the expected stats don't match the results, then they're either unlucky or flawed in a way not currently encapsulated by the stats. They often tell us who a player truly is, though.
@Drew_Testa10@wxcameron@daysduringnal@DixiePapist@TalksToPeople The equations used are the same for every player. That is exactly what objective means. Based on a fact (in this case things like launch angle and exit velo), not human perception. That is what objective means.
@_NickRichard Nothing too fancy, but a good job getting it past the stick of the defender right onto the stick of Lettieri. Nice to see him finding his groove coming back from whatever his injury was
