Teaching may be the toughest job, but principal may be the loneliest job. They're in a constant tug of war between mandates, directives, & expectations of the district and the needs & support for teachers. It's important for districts & staff to show appreciation and support.
Sometimes kids push their boundaries. That’s what they do. Most adults were kids once. It’s good to remember.
We hold kids accountable… but we still can show grace; we can still demonstrate compassion; and we always respect their dignity.

Education says teachers need to use differentiation but uses standardized tests to create a cookie cutter student. Districts tell teachers to be innovative and creative but used a standardized eval used to create a cookie cutter teacher. So frustrating and now I want a cookie!
