If you've been for a walk around Fingle Bridge this year you might have seen the wildlife sightings chalkboard.
We'd love you to share your #WildEncounters and add to the board when you're there.
๐ Can you spot the odd one out?
๐คฃA Husband's point of view.
We always hear "The Rules" from the wife's side.
Now here are the rules from the male side.
These are our rules. Please note, these are all numbered "1" on purpose.
1. Husbands are not mind readers.
1. Shopping is not a sport. And no, we are never going to think of it that way.
1. Crying is blackmail.
1. Ask for what you want. Let us be clear on this one. Subtle hints do not work. Strong hints do not work. Obvious hints do not work. Just say it.
1. Yes and No are perfectly acceptable answers to almost every question.
1. Come to us with a problem only If you want help solving it. That's what we do. Sympathy is what your girlfriends are for.
1. A headache that lasts for 17 months is a problem. See a doctor.
1. Anything we said 6 months ago is inadmissible in an argument. In fact, all comments become null and void after 7 days.
1. If you think you're fat, you probably are. Don't ask us.
1. If something we said can be interpreted in two ways and one of the ways makes you sad or angry, we meant the other one.
1. You can either ask us to do something or tell us how you want it done. Not both. If you already know best how to do it, just do it yourself.
1. Whenever possible, please say whatever you have to say during commercials.
1. Christopher Columbus did not need directions and neither do we.
1. All men see in only 16 colors, like windows default settings. Peach, for example, is a fruit, not a color. Pumpkin is also a fruit. We have no idea what mauve is.
1. If it itches, it will be scratched. We do that.
1. If we ask what is wrong and you say "nothing," we will act like nothing's wrong. We know you are lying, but it is just not worth the hassle.
1. If you ask a question you don't want an answer to, expect an answer you don't want to hear.
1. Don't ask us what we're thinking about unless you are prepared to discuss such topics as football, cars, bikes or games.
1. You have enough clothes.
1. You have too many shoes.
1. You are in shape. Round is a shape.
1. Thank you for reading this. Yes, I know, I have to sleep on the couch tonight, but did you know men really don't mind that? It's like camping.
โข Pass this to as many men as you can to give them a laugh. ๐คฃ๐คฃ
โข Pass this to as many women as you can to give them a bigger laugh.๐คฃ๐คฃ๐คฃ๐คฃ๐คฃ๐คฃ๐คฃ๐คฃ๐คฃ๐คฃ๐คฃ๐คฃ
@andreajenkyns@SuellaBraverman You support a woman sacked twice as Home Secretary; once for sharing secret documents with someone who shouldnโt have seen them and once for inciting hatred and violence on Remembrance Day and undermining the police? You should have a good look at yourself.
@pdavis43 Aha. Sounds good but the pub landlord will have fallen out with the vicar due to what they said about his Sandra's scones at the summer fair and everyone will complain about dog poo on the village green and the village Facebook page will be packed full of slander and gossip.
Congratulations to @ClassicCottages ๐ฅณ๐๐๐ผ

A woman brought a very limp duck in to a veterinary surgeon.
As she laid her pet on the table, the vet pulled out his stethoscope
and listened to the duck's chest.
After a moment or two, the vet shook his head
sadly and said, โIโm sorry, your duck Cuddles, has passed away.โ
The distressed woman wailed, โAre you sure?โ
โYes, I am sure. The duck is dead,โ replied the Vet.
โHow can you be so sure?โ she protested.
โI mean you havenโt done any testing on him or anything. He might just be in a coma or something.โ
The vet rolled his eyes, turned around and left
the room.
He returned a few minutes later with a Labrador.
As the duckโs owner looked on in amazement,
the dog stood on his hind legs, put his front paws on the examination table and sniffed the duck from top to bottom. He then looked up at the vet with sad eyes and shook his head.
The vet patted the dog on the head and took it out of the room.
A few minutes later he returned with a cat.
The cat jumped on the table and also delicately sniffed the bird from head to foot. The cat sat back on its haunches, shook its head, meowed softly and strolled out of the room.
The vet looked at the woman and said, โIโm sorry, but as I said, this is most definitely, 100% certifiably, a dead duck.โ
The Vet turned to his computer terminal, hit a few keys and produced a bill, which he handed to the woman.
The duckโs owner, still in shock, took the bill. โGBP 3000!โ she cried, โGBP 3000 just to tell me my duck is dead!โ
The vet shrugged, *โIโm sorry. If you had just taken my word for it, the bill would have been 100, but with the "Lab Report " and the "Cat Scan", itโs now 3000."*

Read our previous post about Jim. Here he is in 2020, living his best life in our lounge wearing his nappy.
Donโt ever think sheep are wild & โthickโ, they are far brighter than they are given credit for & when given the same love as a dog - they do behave like lovable pets!
If I haven't followed you back, and you're a genuine bird & nature lover like I am, please retweet & I'll follow you back. ๐
