@mouthymary No problem at all. We used masking tape to make the cross and then palm ash and olive oil for the fingerprints. Then removed the masking tape when they had finished to make a clean line.
We had a wonderful time at Messy Church looking at the theme of Lent. We did crafts involving Ashes, and the wilderness, made parachutes, had a pancake obstacle course and enjoyed eating pancakes.
