Happy Pi Day! 🎉🎉 Pupils had fun with some pi-themed activities today! 🥧✨ Many tried to recite Pi to 100 digits, while others tackled fun quizzes and colouring!
Shoutout to Miss MacArthur’s S1 class, who made a paper chain (pi-per chain?) with colours as digits of Pi! 🤩🔢
About 90 S3 pupils attended supported study after school today. Well done 👏🏻 great enthusiasm and commitment. Remember to take this evening to relax and switch off. I heard there is an important football match on tonight

The maths department are running a raffle this week until Thursday lunchtime to win either a signed Celtic FC football from the 1st team or Greg Taylor’s signed football boots. See your maths teacher to buy a ticket at £1 a ticket.
Well done to Luca G S2 for winning the ghd Hair Straighteners. Luca mentioned it will be a nice gift for his mum. Such a kind young man.
Well done to Kai C S1 for winning the Celtic FC tour for 4. It is his birthday soon so a great gift for himself.

@Miss_M_Maths I'd go sides first..... Especially like to start with tangent as you can get outdoors and calculate heights of all sorts using the distance from the foot of it and the angle you are looking up to the top of the object!
