@meatsuitone There are a minority of people like myself who genuinely try to be good and go against societal teachings of racism and it's discouraging to be lumped into the people who we both agree are fucking trash

@TJDoesHealth if someone perceives something as misgendering it doesn't take anything to just not do it. continuing to do so anyway is just being a dick for no reason other than being stubborn. the fact that dude is perceived as gender neutral in some contexts is itself evidence of patriarchy
@seanslimed I feel dysphoria personally but also effortlessly recognize that some things that I am dysphoric about with myself are present with my gf but that doesn't make her any less valid or whatever than I am. Some things are definitely caused by society though. My height dysphoria is
@seanslimed I guess what I wonder is that if dysphoria is internalized transphobia, wouldn't that cause me to apply that to other trans people instead of just myself? For example, I voice train and wish to have bottom surgery, but my gf doesn't. I have no issue with that in any way.
