These wonderful Year 6 children have given up their break and lunch each day to work on their 'chapel project'. They have introduced reading of the week and displayed prayers from the
prayer box.
Well done Year 6 - we are very proud and honored!
Congratulations to our Mini Vinnies who raised £280 for the Living On Bereavement Charity in Orpington by selling hot chocolate and cookies today! A huge thank you to Mrs Connon and Mrs Harris for all of your hard work organising 👏🏼🍪☕️
Year 6 have finished their @theliteracytree unit ‘Suffragettes: the battle for equality’. They worked in groups to create some amazing campaigns for problems in our world today, and presented them using posters, PowerPoint and speeches in the style of Emmeline Pankhurst 👏🏼🪧
In KS2 assembly today we watched a few Christmas adverts and discussed the meaning behind them. We recognised that love, kindness, family and giving were so important during Advent 🕯️ ❤️
Year 6 have just finished their @theliteracytree unit on Some Places More Than Others @reneewauthor which links very well with their art topic. Here are some poems written from the main character’s point of view to her younger sister, in the style of Langston Hughes 😊
With filial gratitude, we offer the Holy Father our most sincere good wishes, asking God to support him in his ministry and to grant him joy in serving the Church.
Happy birthday, Pope Leo! Ad multos annos!
Thank you to the staff and pupils who were able to join us at Holy Innocents’ church this morning for Education Sunday and to celebrate the Feast of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross ✝️ ⛪️
What a lovely display in our pre-school/EYFS corridor! The children across the school have written lovely messages about how our school makes them shine 🌟☀️
