It's the most divisive claim in history: "Unless you eat my flesh, you have no life in you."
Millions have wrestled with those words-including a 13th-century heretic, until his own donkey showed him the truth of Christ's Real Presence.

The Eucharist isn't a symbol for Catholics--it's the true Body, Blood, Soul & Divinity of Christ, His sacrifice made present. This absolute stance has sparked debate for centuries. One such clash unfolded in dramatic fashion with St. Anthony of Padua, a Portuguese Catholic priest and Franciscan friar who lived from 1195 to 1231.

Anthony faced a heretic who mocked the idea of the Eucharist as Christ Himself. It wasn't a polite disagreement--the skeptic demanded proof, a sign even an animal could grasp.

The challenge was set: The heretic would starve his own donkey for three days, then offer it hay while Anthony held the Blessed Sacrament. Anthony agreed, the heretic smirked.

The moment came. A hungry donkey, a pile of hay, and Anthony with the host. The crowd held its breath as skepticism met faith. Then-it happened. The donkey ignored the hay, walked straight to Anthony, and knelt. Front legs down, head bowed, as if at Mass. The crowd gasped.

The heretic's jaw dropped, his face drained of colour. No trick, no excuse--his own mule had undone him. Anthony stood silent, host aloft, letting the miracle speak.

Humbled, the heretic converted. What his mind rejected, his donkey affirmed: Christ's presence in the Eucharist was real, just as Christ declared and just as the Church affirms.

The Eucharistic miracle that occurred through
St. Anthony's prayer so many centuries ago continues--it's a quiet miracle that occurs in every Mass, where faith sees what eyes alone cannot.

My whole friends list on Facebook, apart from a few, are all Protestant. When I was Holy Spirit led to Catholicism I had a fair few Protestants, including a Pastor tell me that I was following a different Gospel and to get out of Catholicism as soon as possible, that the devil was deceiving me. Every now and then I post Catholic Truths on my personal Facebook page - I only post when the Lord leads me to, so whoever is meant to see it, will. I’d be interested to see what happens within the next year though. It seems the Lord is delivering many out of the deception, that is Protestantism in this hour. HALLELUJAH! 🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️.

This is confronting to watch… but it is unfortunately the barbaric and inhumane reality of abortion…..

The Lord randomly reminded me of my life before Jesus had redeemed me and what I was a witness of.
I had studied Biomedical science and was working within one of Australia’s biggest hospitals within the Histology laboratory.
My job was preparing specimens for cut up preparation and storage - which meant we would get all sorts of tissue and body parts in for potential diagnoses.
We also received aborted babies - I would receive the suction bag full of baby legs, arms, skull - body pieces. Again, although I wasn’t redeemed in Christ as yet, every time I received one of these suction bags my stomach would drop.
One day, we received a whole baby though the laboratory that had just been dropped into a bucket and left within the “cut up” room. I was unaware of this until I was going through specimens during the morning and come across this baby.
I was that disturbed that I called my Senior Scientist in and told him of my disgust, and that this was inhumane and this baby should have been prepped for the mortuary, not left in the “cut up” room in a bucket.
It was not until now that I realise the gruesome reality of what happens behind the scenes that I had been a witness to, toward aborted or even still born/lifeless babies.
It is today that I now understand, redeemed within Christ of my purpose here.. the purpose of my witness to such barbaric, inhumane practices….

NO BABY SHOULD DIE by the hands of humans for convenience or profit. It’s evil and it’s disgusting, regardless of size or location.
