Yesterday, Holy Trinity’s second graders celebrated their patron saint, Padre Pio! They venerated his glove relic and his chalice, and had donuts after in honor of his quote, “Pray, hope, and do not (donut) worry.”
He’d bleed out a cup of blood a day, this stigmata revealing an interior reality about the heart of Padre Pio for the souls around him.
Let us all look to examples like Padre Pio and come to let the Gospel seep out of all that we do.
Yesterday morning, Fr. Anthony (who is the biggest Padre Pio enthusiast) celebrated Mass using the chalice of Padre Pio, and one of his gloves was out during and after the Mass for veneration! And check out that chasuble🤔
Padre Pio is a role model for Father Anthony. He is an Italian mystic and Capuchin friar, and because of how he lived united to Christ, bore the wounds of the crucifixion on his hands and feet.

Saturday, women of ACC gathered in the Mary Garden at St. Mary’s to begin a new study on St. John Paul II’s Letter to Women, led by Erika Temple. Surrounded by beauty and peace, familiar faces and new friendships came together in prayer, reflection, and heartfelt conversation.
