Tomorrow (Wed) at 10am it’s our mid-week Communion service, followed by morning tea in Carter Hall.

August is Mission Month at Holy Trinity, and Fr Mark will be speaking about what mission is and how we can be part of it, as well as our partnership this year with the Bush Church Aid Society.

All are welcome to join us at the Women’s Breakfast on Saturday, August 31 @ 9am at Chit Chat café, 147 Union Road, SH. Cost is $26 for a yummy breakfast, and the speakers Sally, Christine and Patricia will speak briefly about their lives.

Our Treasures and Tastes at Trinity market will be back on Saturday, August 17 (9am-1pm).

The milk run taking flyers to stallholders who help deliver them in the local area is done, and parishioners have also been busy delivering new HT newsletters that the market features in.

Tomorrow (Wednesday) at 10am Fr Mark will be leading our special Service of Healing and Thanksgiving, as part of the mid-week Eucharist.

Our Family Communion Service is this Sunday, August 4 at 9.30am, and we look at “Jesus the Healer”. For the younger children there is always a craft activity which they enjoy, and a preview of part of it is here.

Choral Evensong - this Sunday, August 4 at 5pm.

The theme is “Mission Month”, and the service includes hymns, psalms, readings with our Evensong Choir presenting Walford Davies’s Magnificat & Nunc Dimittis in G, and “How lovely are the messengers” by Mendelssohn as its anthem.

Another concert for the local community to enjoy when the Surrey Hills Orchestra presents their Concertofest 2024 on Sunday, August 4 at 2.30pm at MLC, Kew. Details are outlined on their poster.

The orchestra rehearses each week in Trinity Hall.

The anthem during communion will be: "Panis Angelicus" by the French composer Cesar Franck.
Postlude is "Andante and two variations" by the German composer Felix Mendelssohn.

It’s Market Day this coming Saturday, July 20 (9am-1pm), and we’d love you to come and check out what our wonderful stallholders have been preparing for you.

Their stalls covers - Craft, Food and Plants and parishioners run the Treasures Café and the BBQ.

A weekend at HT with links to the community through the Men’s Breakfast on Saturday, and The Wiffler Flute Ensemble and Friends concert yesterday.

Our weekend starts with the Men’s Breakfast at Chit Chat café in SH and Ken James, an expert in local histories will be the speaker.

On Sunday at the 9.30am Eucharist hymns of Isaac Watts will feature as July 17 marks the 350th anniversary of his birth.

Coming up: weekend of July 20 and 21 starts with Treasures and Tastes at Trinity market on Sat from 9am-1pm with 40 stall holders of makers, bakers and growers.
Eucharists are Sunday am, then Youth Group at 5pm. The theme is Games, Games, Games and expected to be loads of fun.

This Sunday, July 14 at 2.30pm The Wiffler Flute Ensemble & Friends will present an afternoon of musical delights in the church, and if their rehearsal today is anything to go on you’ll not be disappointed.

Tickets at door are $20.00 - with all money going to assist the ASRC.
