This afternoons service was to launch and take paramedics to Holy Island for an unwell person due to the tide being in and causeway closed. Working along side @Holy_Island_CG who looked after the casualty and brought them to the jetty for being taken back to Seahouses. #RNLI

Within 5 mins of arriving at @HolyIslandCause today, two vehicles risked becoming stranded rather than waiting a couple of hours to cross. Only 6 inches of water and the Land Rover driver said it was pushing him across the Causeway. @Holy_Island_CG @RNLI #stupid #sinkingfeeling

Be wary of soft ground when at the coast.
