At Holyhead Towing we are proud of our Welsh heritage, that’s why we named our vessels after rivers and islands located on or near the Isle of Anglesey. We thought we’d explain a little more…Behind the name: BARDSEY ISLAND

Celebrating the continued success of this great Anglesey company. I enjoy seeing @HolyheadTowing vessels with their local names popping up around the globe... like the Afon Cefni playing key role in Costa Concordia recovery.
HTC vessels are supporting the early stages of construction on the impressive Fehmarn Belt Link, Europe’s largest transport Infrastructure project. SALT ISLAND and AFON ALAW can be seen assisting the Fetsy L at Rodbyhaven in Denmark.

Spare a thought for our guys working out in the Gulf, Indian Ocean and West Africa who are still unable to travel home. Special thanks to you all and to the many global seafarers who continue to work under these difficult conditions. https://t.co/cZ6LCf2i13 via @YouTube

We thought we'd share this lovely post by Hanna Baguley Photography featuring Ynys Llanddwyn (Llandwyn Island), which can be found just off the Anglesey Coastal Path.
