Year 3 have been looking at the school value 'Courage.' They have spent time researching what courage means, finding synonyms, reading books related to courage, learning songs, creating posters and finally working as a team to themselves spell out the letters in courage.
Year 1 have got football fever! Cedar class and Elm class have enjoyed a football tournament with Coach Jade this morning in their PE lessons ahead of the Euros final this weekend. They were especially good at joining in with the Three Lions song to celebrate!! โฝ ๐ฆ
10 children from Oak and Maple went to the Redditch Sports Club to compete in mini-Tennis games. They all showed fantastic determination and team spirit- well done to them all!
In Year 3, we have been using our cutting skills to make a Caribbean Rainbow Coleslaw. Lots of us thought it tasted delicious! Maybe you could try making it at home ๐
Reception children went on a trip to Attwell Farm Park on Thursday. We saw lots of different animals, learnt how to handle and feed them carefully and ended our day by having a play on the park. We can't wait to write all about our trip this week!
Last week, Year 1 were lucky to have the Ambulance service visit. We looked inside the ambulance, checked our heart rate and oxygen levels, and even got to turn on the flashing lights!

This afternoon, Year 2 have been exploring the importance of dental hygiene using discolouring tablets to identify plaque on our teeth. We even got coach Jade to check hers too ๐ฆท
Our Reception children have been making the most of the sunshine! We had snack time in the garden with a story and then had lots of water play out too.
We've had a special delivery in Year 2 to support our Science learning of 'Living Things and Their Habitats'! We now have a 'Worm World' in Hazel classroom to help us with observing and exploring world habitats and microhabitats ๐
Last Friday, Elm class took part in the Infant Agility Games at Bromsgrove School. We completed jumping, running, throwing and launching activities and took third place out of six schools! The children had a wonderful day and were very proud of their accomplishments!
We are on Week 2 of Computing Club and the children are really enjoying learning how to programme the Micro:Bits to make a noise and show different LED patterns ๐งฎ
Year 3's Oak class enjoyed their visit to Envirosort yesterday. They learnt how to recycle correctly, got to see inside the working factory and found out many, many fascinating facts!
