I've said it before and I'll say it again: avoid @SunTrust at ALL COSTS when getting a mortgage. They're holding tens of thousands of dollars of my insurance money hostage, leaving VMs like "this is Monica from Suntrust. Call me back at 866-528-1567. The number goes nowhere.

@AskSunTrust I get it that you leeches own more of my house than I do, but if you are going to “steal” my insurance check then I say you schumcks should do all the legwork getting this damage fixed. Instead you make me do it and then deny my receipts when I start replacing damages

If you have a choice when getting a mortgage, avoid @SunTrust at all costs. They make insurance claims miserable and hold your insurance money hostage, denying whatever they feel like. On the flip side, @StateFarm was great and cut the check within days.
