We are thrilled to be launching our new weekly lunch and arts club for Home-Start families @homecafesw18 after the Easter holidays. Every week our families will be able to come together, chat and relax in a safe environment.
"Home Cafe is a place where all are welcome"
Last night we had total the pleasure of awarding @HomeCafeSW18 with a Sanctuary award 🏆
This award is a recognition of the incredible work they've put into being a hub for people seeking sanctuary & welcoming space for all 👏👏👏
Huge thank you to @HomeCafeSW18 for your amazing work in our Community & congratulations on becoming the first Wandsworth ‘Cafe of Sanctuary’. A truly inspiring event by @WWRefugees@CityofSanctuary and a pleasure to meet so many of you!
An excellent event to celebrate the presentation of the Home Community Café’s @HomeCafeSW18 award as a ‘Café of Sanctuary’, to hear about the achievements and hopes of Wandsworth groups working with refugees and others seeking sanctuary #wandsworthwelcomesrefugees
We spent an incredible evening celebrating @homecafesw18’s Sanctuary award. We heard from local campaigners, musicians, librarians, educators, councillors & more, all working to make their community welcoming to everyone. A HUGE well done to everyone!! 🥳🏆
