I think Royals ownership needs to remember that the people who cheer for their team are the same people who organized a blackout at Arrowhead, flew banners over the stadium and refused to accept anymore derelict mediocrity from that franchise.

This city knows bullshit when it smells it, and it also knows what can happen when enough becomes enough and ownership is essentially forced to make sweeping changes.

Maybe it was the players, maybe it was a piss poor GM and coaching staff. Maybe it was both. Either way, the Chiefs gutted the organization after 2012 and have been to 5 Super Bowls since.

The Royals are currently miring in said bullshit, and it’s time to hit the reset button.
