The Polish cabinet requests the remaining Russian troops to move to the Polish-German border purely to deal with the panic ensuing after the bomb. Most soldiers complied, although 5,000 defected and it is unclear where they plan to go and what their intentions are.

The Council of Home Affairs is hard at work addressing the bomb on the Poland-Germany border, and assessing the presence of Russian troops in Poland. Currently, we are analyzing the future of home security in the EU, and how to prevent any further perpetrated by Iran.
UPDATE: Latvia, France, Hungary, Netherlands, the UK, Spain, and Italy have entered an alliance in protest of Russian military activity in Poland. However, a Swedish investigation revealed that there may be suspicious military cooperation/arms trade involved in this alliance.
UPDATE: 40,000 Russian troops entered Poland due to a request by the Polish government to help quell civil unrest in the country in the wake of mass protests. Currently, the military involvement is peaceful, although surrounding countries are alarmed.
UPDATE: The Council of Home Affairs passed a directive calling for the reinstitution of the European Neighborhood Policy, and additionally called for a meeting between all EU member states to formally discuss border closure and disaster preparedness
UPDATE: A Russian-backed army has moved into Latvia during the political unrest during the plague, and are attempting to overthrow the government. EXTREME panic happening in Latvia, although no reported cases of the plague exist there.
UPDATE: Polish diplomats stationed in affected countries have been gathering statistics, and have reported a 32% increase in crime rates in nations severely affected by the plague, as well as civil unrest
Hungary, Latvia, and the Netherlands have all closed their borders unilaterally in order to prevent immigration and the spread of the disease. Both Hungary and the Netherlands moved troops to their borders to ensure no one comes in or out.
